Here at Unifusion, our international recruitment team will do everything to get candidates ready by advising and supporting them with all aspects of living and working in the UK.


Working with our network of education and recruitment partners abroad, we provide training and support, for example helping candidates to prepare for the below while they are still overseas.


IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
OCSE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination)
NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) Registration
CBT (Computer-Based Test) Competence Test


Unifusion will guide and support you throughout the process of relocating to the UK.

Here in the UK, all nurses must be registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and doctors must be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) to legally practice.

Our initial process is as follows:


Initial contact to assess suitability by checking skills, qualifications, experience & English language level.


Interview will be conducted via Skype/Zoom/WhatsApp or in person to further check suitability.


Checking of; passport, proof of residence, police clearance certificate of good conduct, credit reference bureau status, HELB loan status, references & nursing qualification verification.


Take the IELTS/OET – an English test covering speaking, reading, writing and listening.


Computer Based Training exam consisting 140 multiple choice questions based on nursing competencies.


We will support you with the Nursing Medical Council application (required to work as a nurse in the UK).

Visa Application

We will support you with the Visa application process to enable you to live and work in the UK.


We will offer information and help you prepare for your journey; booking flights, pre-travel tips, orientation.

Arrive in the UK

You will be met at the airport with an agent and taken to your accommodation.


Induction with your employer, practical assessment and other processes to get you fully registered as a UK Nurse.
